No Pull Dog Harness

While this harness is available in size XL, I would urge caution to those with XL dogs looking to purchase this harness. Unless your dog is very docile and non-reactive - this harness is a risk. I cannot argue that this harness is very attractive and well made looking. However, there are a few spots where I am genuinely concerned could tear or come apart with a lunging XL dog. To start - the shoulder straps are sewn into the neoprene under padding and obviously end just after the sewn point, rather than continuing through the padding to be sewn to the nylon strap that the chest d-ring is secured to. This means that the neoprene padding is expected to endure your dog's lunges, without nylon strap reinforcement. 3-4 more inches of nylon strap per side would have solved the issue, I'm not sure why they didn't just continue the strap? Next problem, where the shoulder straps are sewn to the back portion, it is just a line of stitching, not a full box stitch as it should be. They cover it with a rubberized leather-like piece with a circle sewn on as though the circle is sewn through the strap too. It is not. I could see this being okay if you use the front d-ring only. The back d-ring allows your dog to pull and lunge and an XL dog(85+lbs) is going to bust right through that 1 inch line of stitching. These issues are purely for the larger sizes. I am confident that the harness could contain a dog 60lbs or less. I will use the harness with a backup strap linked to his collar for safety. That is the only way I can recommend using this harness.

The extra-tough stitching gives me confidence that it can handle the zoomies.One feature I really appreciate is the subtle reflective accent. It’s not overly flashy, but it provides just enough visibility to make me feel safer when I’m out on evening strolls. The handle on the back is another great touch—perfect for those moments when I need a little extra control.The clips and buckles are solid and feel secure without being too stiff or difficult to manage. I also love that the material seems breathable and comfortable. My pup has had zero complaints, which says a lot since she’s usually quick to let me know if something’s even slightly uncomfortable.Overall, this harness checks all the boxes: durability, comfort, safety, and, of course, an absolutely adorable color. It’s quickly become my go-to for every adventure with my furry sidekick.

My dog has only liked one harness previously, but it was small and ripped within a month. She loves this harness and I can tell it's not going to rip for years. It's easy to fit to her body, it pulls her comfortably with two hook attachments on top and chest (if I need to move her away from something), and while she might not be able to see the color, the purple really brings out her eyes lol

Love the harness, it keeps your dog safe and under control. Non bulky secure harness that fits comfortably on your pup. Walking is a breeze with no pulling on you or your pup. Made for walks with a loop to make it easy to grab your dog in an emergency. Very secure and well made.

My dog is super picky on what I put on him, and harnesses are of no exception. This harness looks great and the reflective material is quite visible at night when any type of light shines on it. The harness was quite loose when putting it on my dog, so I needed to tighten it up. This is where it became a bit of a hassle. The harness straps were quite tight fitting with the strap clips and it took quite a bit of work to get it to properly fit my dog. If the straps were a tad looser it would make it easier on older folk like myself to tighten it easier.All in all, I'm satisfied with this harness and my puppers is better seen at night while I'm taking him for his night walk.
